RP Sample: Ava had packed up her things, and headed out of town. She had told her fair share of stories, and though she would have loved to tell more, especially to the children it was time for her to move on, so move on she did. The life of a traveling bard was not an easy one, but then if she wanted an easy life Ava could have just settled in either Athens, or her hometown Sikyon after graduating Athens Academy For Performing Bards, and told stories there.
However, Ava knew early on in life that, that was not the type of life she wanted. Ava always dreamed of visiting far off places, and was telling stories since she was old enough to talk. At least one would believe by talking to her mother. As she walked along the path out of town, small pack over her shoulder, Ava started to remember back when.
Ava as she got older started writing her stories down, especially the ones that the young children in her village really liked. It made her happy.
Though her parents weren't happy with that, though Ava's mother was more willing to let her tell stories to people as long as she helped around the house. With six siblings it was not exactly easy for anyone. Ava's father though wanted her to be a regular girl and get married, have children, and all that. It was very difficult for her to get her father to agree to her going to Athens Academy. He had when she was seventeen.
Ava smiled as she let out a sigh. Things had seemed to always be a struggle. She was just now starting to think about her siblings when she heard the rumbling sound of thunder. Not soon after it started to downpour. Seeing building in the distance Ava ran to it.
When she was close enough she saw that it was a temple of Aphrodite. The weather getting worse, Ava entered the temple for refuge. "It's pink." Ava twisted her chestnut red hair to get the water out. "Sorry about the water." Ava apologized to the goddess as she walked in. Wow. What an offering. Ava thought as she walked up to the alter. "I feel inspired!"
Ava placed her small pack on the ground near a puffy pink chair. There were quite a few about. Sitting in one Ava pulled out an empty scroll and her quill, and began writing.
