~_~ Seranuu: The Lost Continent ~_~
We are a new roleplay board with only four members, myself included. Our roleplay centers on exploring a land long forgotten and hidden by time. One day your character crashes into this mysterious island and meets the native inhabitants who can barely understand, and so converse with, you. You must survive the fierce creatures lurking in the jungles, the various temperatures you will encounter over the continent, and the worst-- the spirits that lurk in the shadows of the night, guarding an ancient secret. Your character will gain one or two powers from the continent's magic and use them to survive, all the while getting closer to the truth of why they were brought there.
(The plot unravels itself as we progress through the roleplay; thus details and major plot points aren't spoiled. In addition, the plot changes and adapts to the players: the environment may change, for example, due to their actions.)
The setting is a continent hidden in a pocket of time and, as such, home to inhabitants that know little to no English. Over the years various people have also washed up on Seranuu's shores and the inhabitants have either killed them or taken them in. Each time some of the invaders culture got spread to them, such as language, dress, tools, etc.
