Kara smiled as she spotted the archers and started running at one of them, keeping low as she threw the knife Xena had provided between the archer's eyes. She frowned as her dress ripped then dropped to a crouch next to the now dead soldier. Retrieving Xena's knife and the archer's sword, Kara looked around to find Herc & Xena before charging the rest of the archers, guessing that taking their attention away from the others was a good idea.

Hercules watched Xena then listened to her and after that he watched her fight as he fought the enemy too. Once in awhile he watched Kara then he looked at Xena as he kept fighting. Hercules wasn't surprised that they were surrounded since with enemies that was what usually happened anyway, so he was rather used to that by now. He pretty much expected that to happen as it wasn't the first time it happened and he doubted that it would be the last. Hercules wasn't to surprised that Ares wasn't helping them, just as he wasn't surprised by anything else other then that.

A few more men emerged, and naturally Xena continued hand to hand combat. A few more flips here and there as well. She then ran up a tree to position herself in front of the one man she had yet to take out. She kicked each knee hard causing him to go to the ground. She then took her chakrum and tossed it to give Hercules and Kara a hand. As her weapon was flying about Xena put the pinch on the man. "I've just cut the flow of blood to your brain. You have thirty seconds to live. Now, tell me who you are, and why you are following us."

OOC: Kara & Herc, you can decide who the chakrum hits and where it hits the people or person you are fighting. After you do I'll write in the return to hand. Also, this dude that has the pinch on him, one of you can make up his answers or I'll do it in my next post.

Kara had killed three warriors before leaving herself overextended after disembowling a fourth. She turned as another warrior prepared to decapitate her before something flew through the air and hit him in the die of the head before flying off into the distance. Kara barely gave it a second thought before running him through then turned to kill another.
Kara looked around as she realized she was in the clear for a moment then smiled as she saw that Xena seemed to be taking care of herself well before looking for Herc.

Hercules kept fighting as he then saw the Chakrum fly by and hit two of the guys that he fought against, he looked over at Xena and nodded at her and after that he fought the other 4 that stood in front of him. Once in awhile he looked at Xena then towards Kara and sighed. Meanwhile the guy Xena pinched looked at her barely breathing and bleeding from his nose and mouth. "Who do you think?" was all the man said. Hercules knocked the last 4 man out as by this time the chakrum was next to Xena or even in her hand. He had no idea as he didn't look. Anyway once he was done he headed over to Xena.

Her trusty weapon bounced off of one more man, hitting him in the belt causing his pants to drop to the ground as he scurried off, leaving his 'friends' in the most loving care of the heros. It then returned to hand, and Xena stuck it back where it belonged. This man was being stubborn.
"Who do you think?"
"Wrong answer." Xena replied now firmly holding the mans arm behind his back, and squeezing it some. He let out a painful groan. "Now, I'll ask you again. Who are you and why are you following us?" Xena couldn't help the slight smirk that graced her lips. "Don't struggle. Just talk. You're down to twenty seconds." Xena really hoped he would talk. If he did not they might have another passanger, and the mood she was in well, it was the last thing Xena wanted.
Also, if this went on any further Hercules would put a stop to it. He never let anyone die. On her new path Xena tried not to kill, but sometimes it could not be helped. Besides; have people not learned never to tick off a mother to be that has many skills, and mood swings?

"I don't know why you bother doing that." Aphrodite said as she appeared with the golden shimmering light. "I really don't think he knows anything." Aphrodite shrugged then placed a hand to her hip, and gestured to the man with her other hand. "Just look at the way he's dressed!"
"You wouldn't catch me in something like that. Ick!" Aphrodite then wiggled her fingers and walked over to a stump by Kara, and sat. "So, how are things?"

Hercules sighed as he watched all of this then he looked at Aphrodite and sighed. "Actually he does, they are just trained not to talk. So he doesn't. it's either we kill him or his boss. He believes we would kill him or rather Xena will kill him either way so he refuses to speak" he said to Aphrodite. He looked between them all and sighed as he wasn't sure what to do next as he doubted that anything he would do would even help at all. It seemed rather pointless or so he thought anyway.

Kara looked at Athrodite after killing the last of the warriors attacking her then glanced down to make sure that she was uninjured. "I'm fine, they weren't a threat". She looked at her dress and frowned as she noted the blood on it. "Sorry about the dress. I'm starting to think that getting away from having to kill people is impossible".
She looked over at Herc and Xena as she started to clean her sword on the grass. "I'm starting to think that escaping was a bad idea".

"The way he is dressed has nothing to with anything Aphrodite!" Xena gripped the dirt ball even tighter. She was rather surprised Hercules had not put a stop to her, or this yet. "Come you piece of horse manure, talk! Who sent you and why?! You have nineteen seconds left before you face Hades in tartarus."
Xena really felt like kicking this man around, and doing some serious damage. Must be the mood swings.
Xena sideways glanced at Kara. "Escaping was not a bad idea Kara. Put that thought out of your head."
The mans sight started to blur. He supposed Xena would actually let him die, so he was getting scared. "Alright..." He said, just barely. "A man named Surius..." He tried to grasps a breath. "heard about Ares...loosing his powers, and also about...the escaped girl...that's all."
Xena, now looking pleased, undid the pinch, then grabbed the man by his hair. "You tell you boss if he sends more of you after us, or he comes himself you'll be killed where you stand. Also tell him that Ares loosing his powers is nothing but a bad rumor someone put out there. Are you really wanting to risk the god of wars wrath...or mine?" Xena picked the man up then kicked him forward. "Now go!"

Ares had remained asleep for a very long time, it was a deep sleep brought on from exhaustion. He had done more work today than he had done in most of his life. He slowly woke up, taking notice that their camp had inherited yet another person. He thought he recognized her, but in his half awake state he wasn't sure. He slowly rose to a seated position and rubbed the sleep from his eyes.
"I see we have picked up yet another lost soul."
He looked at the new comer
"So, who do we have here?"

The man ran out as if his pants were on fire. Things were very serious if someone knew about Ares being powerless. But how could that have happened? No one had been around when they saw the fates. Hercules wouldn't tell anyone. Aphrodite? The other gods and goddesses? They were taking bets after all. In Xena's book everyone was a suspect.
She now directed her attention from Kara to Ares. "Her name is Kara." Xena replied to Ares' question, with a light roll of her light blue eyes. "Look, we have to keep moving. More people are bound to be trying to track us." Xena pointed to Ares. "Pack up our stuff...neatly."
"Aphrodite," Xena addressed the goddess of love, turning her attention to her. "would you please either help or go someplace else?" It hadn't exactly sounded like a question.

Ares didn't have much to do in the way of packing, most of his things had remained packed when he had fallen asleep...
"Aphrodite, would you please either help or go someplace else?"
Ares couldn't help but smile at the tone Xena had taken with Aphrodite...
"What crawled up your butt and died there princess? Can't stand a little heat, maybe you should stay out of the kitchen."
He chuckled to himself as he finished packing, threw the pack over his shoulder and began walking off down the road.
"Let's go mortals, we haven't got all day..."

Xena glared at Ares. She didn't need any attitude at the moment. "Shut up Ares." Xena demanded as she got her stuff, and began walking along. They got the information they needed, and wanted. What was next was any bodys guess really. "In case you've forgotten Ares, you are also mortal. So when you talk down to us like that, in a sad way you're also putting yourself down." Xena stated as she took the lead.
