For Thanksgiving we usually all just stay home and have a regular Thanksgiving feast that mom makes with all the trimmings. Other times we've had Thanksgiving with my dads sister and her husband and his sisters children. Personally I like it better just the folks and siblings.
Though this year my dads brother is coming up this year so we are gonna take my little cousin for one night.
Christmas Eve some one from moms side of the family usually hosts a family get together. It is one of the most wonderful times ever for me; as I love hanging out and goofing off with my cousins and rest of the family from moms side. They are a whole bunch of fun, and Christmas Eve is also the one time a year you get to catch up with everyone.
Then on Christmas we open up our gifts while someone takes pictures or records it.
It's always a happy time. Very very cold, but happy.
